Clamping Plates for Timing Belts
Clamping plates for timing belts are designed for mounting open-ended timing belts on the foundations of a machine. They are mainly used in linear drives. For designing common drives there is a basic principle saying that the belt has to be fixed to the foundations with a clamping plate having minimum 7 teeth (cogs). For HPL belts with tension filaments the minimum number of teeth is 12.
