Open-ended punched V-belts with fasteners (clamps)
Punched V-belts ROFLEX ROCON are sold as open-ended, and it is possible to use special fasteners to make them into loops of any length. The belts are specially designed to guarantee strength and flexibility despite the punches: the reinforcing tensile filaments are positioned round the cross-section.
Application:
Punched V-belts ROFLEX ROCON are used where it is either impossible or impractical to use a classic belt loop, where it is necessary to adjust the size directly in assembly, etc. They are also suitable as spare belts as it is possible to replace a V-belt of any length with them. Punched V-belts are also used in conveyor systems.
Properties:
- ability to transmit app 50% of power in comparison to classic V-belts
- high flexibility, possibility to join them with fasteners directly on the drive pulleys
- made for standard pulleys SPZ, SPA, SPB, SPC
- operation temperatures from -40°C to +70°C
- supplied in rolls of any length
Cross-sections:
Punched V-belts ROFLEX ROCON are manufactured to the DIN 2216 in cross-sections 8,*10/Z, 13/A, 17/B, 22/C and 32/D* (*non-standard delivery, only on special request). Special fasteners/clamps (either rigid or flexible) suitable for the particular cross-section have to be used for joining the belts.
