Poly-V Belts with kevlar fibres PL-ZAR, PM-ZAR
Poly-V belts with kevlar fibres CONTI−V MULTIRIB® ZAR are special poly-V belts designed to transmit maximum power. Kevlar fibres are characterized by outstanding durability and an extreme load they can carry. Using these belts enables the designers to reduce the number of ribs by up to 1/3 in comparison to standard poly-V belts with polyester fibres.
Application:
Poly-V belts with kevlar fibres CONTI−V MULTIRIB® ZAR are often used in drives requiring maximum transmission power and high transmission ratios. They are also used in many industrial applications, in durable machinery for heavy industries and mines, crushers and pulverisers, compressors, pumps, etc.
Properties:
- maximum transmission power, long life span, operation almost without vibrations
- high maximum radial velocity
- permitting high transmission ratios
- operation temperatures from -30°C to + 80°C
- antistatic properties in compliance with ISO1813
