Poly-V Belts with elastic fibres PJ-Elast, PK-Elast
Poly-V belts CONTI−V MULTIRIB® Elast are special poly-V belts designed for drives with fixed distances between the axes without tightening pulleys. The belts contain special elastic nylon fibres that enable tightening the belt in installation. The nylon fibres then provide the required tightening force when the belt is in operation.
Application:
Poly-V belts CONTI−V MULTIRIB® Elast are used in drives with fixed distances between the axes without a need for tightening. The most common of their applications are in household appliances, electric tools, washing machines, but we can also find them in industrial applications, compressors, pumps, etc.
Properties:
- high transmission power, long life span, operation almost without vibrations
- designed for drives with fixed distances between the axes without tightening devices
- permitting high transmission ratios
- operation temperatures from -30°C to + 80°C
- antistatic properties in compliance with ISO1813
